Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers carried special write-ups with photos of leader Kim Jong Il on the 51st anniversary of his start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

The Indian paper Science Technology and Education News on August 16 carried an article titled "Songun and Kim Jong Il". It said Kim Jong Il has developed in depth the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, and comprehensively applied the Songun politics.

Another Indian paper Public News introduced in detail Kim Jong Il's historic leadership over Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army. The unit has grown to be formidable ranks capable of beating back any strong enemy under the care of the brilliant commander, it added.

The Nepali paper Jana Sata on August 13 in an article said the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il has remarkably strengthened the single-minded unity of the society of the DPRK.

The Bangladeshi paper Natun Bangla on August 15 devoted one whole page to special write-ups under the headline "On 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership".

The paper praised his Songun politics with which he firmly defended peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and the region while shattering the U.S. imperialists and their followers' moves to ignite a new war.

The August 15th issue of another Bangladeshi paper Natun Katha and the August 14th issue of Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times carried articles which said that the Songun politics is, indeed, the most effective political mode that provides a firm guarantee for the victorious advance of socialism and the cause of independence.
