Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- A summit of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) was held in Angola from August 17 to 18.

Attending there were heads of state and government from the SADC member nations.

Discussed at the summit were the issues to push forward the infrastructure construction for expanding economic relations among member nations to lay the foundation for regional integration, peacefully settle disputes and ensure regional stability.

Prior to it, a meeting of the Ministerial Council of the SADC was held on August 16.
