Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Lectures were given in Sweden, Iran and Democratic Congo between Aug. 12 and 16 on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership and the 66th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that Aug. 15 marked the start of the new history of the Korean nation and socialist Korea, highly praising the feats of President Kim Il Sung in liberating Korea, adding:

On Aug. 25 1960 leader Kim Jong Il gave on-the-spot guidance to Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army, starting his Songun revolutionary leadership.

He has since wisely led the work to bolster the national power with priority given to it.

Now the U.S. and the south Korean authorities are getting ever more undisguised in the move to provoke a war against the DPRK.

But the DPRK remains unfazed as the political and military might has grown stronger in every way thanks to the Songun policy of Kim Jong Il.

The general director of the International Relations of Iranian Workers' House noted that Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Songun idea fathered by the President to meet the requirements of the prevailing situation and the developing revolution and enforced the Songun policy.

He said that it is thanks to the wise and experienced Songun policy of Kim Jong Il that the DPRK have achieved great successes in economic and military construction despite the persistent sanctions and pressure of the U.S. and its followers.

The vice-chairman of the Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Democratic Congo said that thanks to the Songun policy of Kim Jong Il the single-minded unity of the DPRK society has reached the highest level and world-startling changes have taken place in all fields.
