Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- The Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory produces bottled mineral water with well-known spring water from Mt. Ryongak in Pyongyang.

The factory began operation on May 31, Juche 96 (2007).

The water, containing various kinds of mineral matters and ions like fluorine, bromine and selenium, is good in taste and efficacious in medical treatment. The products are supplied to Pyongyang citizens.

When visiting the factory in January 2011, leader Kim Jong Il looked around water filtering, cleansing, injecting, forwarding and other processes to acquaint himself with the construction of the factory, its technical equipment and production.

He called on the factory to steadily increase the production and fully supply quality mineral water to Pyongyang citizens.

The modern factory covers thousands of square meters.
