Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The Bangladeshi and Nepali organizations issued bulletins to mark the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership.

The Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, in its bulletin titled "Might of Songun" on August 18, said:

Kim Jong Il has always made greatest efforts to augment the political and military might of the country for more than 50 years since he started his Songun revolutionary leadership on August 25, 1960.

The national defence industry of the DPRK has developed to be a modern and self-supporting industry, the whole army has been successfully modernized on its basis and a solid all-people nationwide defence system has been established.

The Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, in its bulletin on August 17, said that the Korean People's Army has become vanguard devotedly defending the leader and a matchless army and the DPRK has turned into an impregnable fortress under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The Songun politics represents a unique political mode, an organic combination of military affairs and politics, it noted, adding that the U.S. and its followers dare not attack the DPRK as they are afraid of powerful nuclear deterrent of the DPRK.
