Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The Pakistani senator at a recent interview with a news agency clarified the stand of his country to support the cause of the Palestinian people.

To found an independent Palestinian state is a legitimate right of the Palestinian people and it should, therefore, be respected.

He was of the view that the issue of Palestine should be resolved peacefully through dialogue and negotiations rather than by using force.

Israeli atrocities against innocent Palestinians must be stopped and Israel must vacate all occupied territories of Palestine without any further delay.
