Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The Central Association of Korean Nationals in Russia on August 19 issued a statement titled "'Ulji Freedom Guardian' joint military exercises should be stopped at once".

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean group of traitors finally started the UFG despite the unanimous demand of the public opinion at home and abroad for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, the statement said.

They should stop at once the UFG which pushes the situation on the Korean Peninsula to a war phase, it noted.

The south Korean group of traitors kicked off the large-scale joint military exercises again in league with the U.S., fully proving that they are set to ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK at any cost, it held.

The reality goes to prove that it is impossible to achieve the peace and stability on the peninsula as long as the group of traitors is allowed to stay in power, it said.

The Central Association of Korean Nationals in Russia and all the Koreans in Russia will wage a more dynamic struggle against the group of traitors, it stressed.
