Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, met and had a talk with the delegation of People's Daily led by Secretary General Yan Xiaoming at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Tuesday.

The head of the delegation said that the Korean people have achieved great successes in building a rich and powerful nation under the leadership of the WPK headed by Kim Jong Il.

He recalled that President Kim Il Sung provided the Sino-DPRK friendship together with Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai.

He expressed his will to make a contribution to boosting the exchange and cooperation between the party organs of the two countries.
