Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Voices praising General Secretary Kim Jong Il are heard from world public on the 51st anniversary of his start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico extended the warmest congratulations and highest tribute to Kim Jong Il for leading the building of a thriving nation and steering world politics with his Songun politics.

The chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee said the DPRK has developed into a socialist fortress having the invincible revolutionary armed forces and powerful nuclear deterrent and won one victory after another, frustrating the provocations and moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers for aggression under the outstanding leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK has stood up firm against the U.S. styling itself the "only superpower", the Nepali newspaper Rahasha said. Such reality proves that the DPRK is an invincible power which no one dares provoke, it added.

The Socialist Party of Benin-Baanitee in its statement stressed that the reality of the world today goes to prove that the Songun politics of the DPRK and the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il are the best in the world.

The chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea noted the DPRK's international position and authority have been remarkably raised and the independent dignity of the Korean people is so high by dint of Songun that it is the irresistible trend of the times to develop relations with the DPRK.

The chairman of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru stressed the DPRK having powerful defence capability will shed more brilliant rays as a beacon of hope for progressive humankind.
