Tehran, August 23 (KCNA) --Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman on August 20 strongly condemned new brutal attacks of Zionist regime forces on the fasting and defenseless Palestinians.

The spokesman stressed that the attacks were an attempt on the part of the Zionist regime to cover up its own internal problems and distract the regional as well as international public opinion from situation in the occupied territories.

He further called on international bodies and organizations claiming support for human rights to condemn the anti-human attacks and do their best to prevent repetition of such acts in the Palestinian territories.
