Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- An Ethiopian organization and a Cambodian organ issued bulletins on August 19 and 20 to mark the 51st anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership.

The Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea carried the following article in its bulletin:

Supreme leader of the DPRK Kim Jong Il started his Songun revolutionary leadership in his early years true to father of socialist Korea President Kim Il Sung's idea of attaching importance to arms and military affairs, bearing in mind the lesson taught by history that when a country and nation are weak in strength, they are bound to fall victim to aggression and injustice though they aspire after independence and justice.

The military strength of the DPRK has reached the highest level thanks to the 50 odd year-long Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

His Songun leadership helped consolidate the single-minded unity of the Korean society as firm as a rock. It, at the same time, brought about world-startling changes in all fields including the economy of the country.

The Cambodian AKP carried in its bulletin an article lauding Kim Jong Il for having demonstrated the dignity and might of the DPRK with his Songun leadership.
