Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- Scientists of a certain country have recently developed a new type of efficiently thermo-photovoltaic cell.

They processed the surface of wolfram to make it possible for the cell to utilize to the maximum light wave emitted from wolfram.

On this basis they produced cell quadruple higher in the rate of electric conversion efficiency than lithium ion cell with the same size and weight.

This cell with butane as fuel can be charged right when fueled to some extent after electric consumption.

The new cell will be reportedly used as power source of space equipment.
