Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- The DPRK title of Labor Hero was conferred on Choe Ryong Ho, vice-president of Yanbian University of Science and Technology of China.

He made a positive contribution to the building of a prosperous and powerful socialist country and the education of the younger generation in the homeland.

An awarding ceremony took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Thursday.
