Tehran, August 25 (KCNA) -- Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, addressing an event on Tuesday, clarified the stand to resolutely shatter the enemy's aggression moves.

Iran's defense policy is based on deterrence and its response to any possible aggression would be annihilating, he said.

He noted that Iran would use its military power against injustice and aggression.

"Our military power would not be used for taking over lands of other nations and in the meantime, looting their resources," he stressed.
