Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Meetings took place in Bangladesh, India and Denmark between 17 and 21 to mark the 51st anniversary of General SecretaryKim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership.

Displayed in the venues of the meetings were books and photos on the feats of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Present there were personages of the Bangladesh People's League, the Bangladesh Self-Reliance Research Center, the Indian Srilalmahal Group, the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association and masses.

The president of the Bangladesh People's League said that Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership over five decades ago is a historic event of great significance in the struggle for accomplishing the DPRK's revolutionary cause of Juche.

The chairman of the Indian Srilalmahal Group noted that Korea which was reduced to a colony of the Japanese imperialists as it was weak in its national power in the past has become a country with so powerful military capability that no one dares provoke thanks to the Songun politics enforced by Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said that all the achievements made in the DPRK were possible thanks to the results of the Songun politics enforced by Kim Jong Il.

Meanwhile, The Indian Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, the CPS Global Consultation Company and the India-Swiss School held a lecture, photo exhibition and film show on August 18.
