Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, on August 21 issued a statement to mark the 51st anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership.

He said that the Korean people could firmly defend socialism from the ceaseless military provocations and threat of aggression of the U.S. imperialists thanks to the Songun revolutionary leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The justice of the Songun politics can find a clear manifestation in that the Korean People's Army and the Korean people have bravely met all challenges of the U.S. imperialists with capability for self-defence bolstered thanks to the Songun politics, he noted, and went on:

The Songun politics is the most just and great political mode firmly guaranteeing the DPRK's independence in politics, self-support in economy and self-reliance in defence.

The Finland-Korea Society is firmly convinced that the Korean people would build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation without fail true to the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il, he concluded.
