Beijing, August 26 (KCNA) -- Hu Jintao, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in a preface of a textbook on cadre training published recently stressed the need to push forward the scientific development of cadre training.

Noting that to educate and train cadres is a primary work for building ranks of cadres with high qualifications, he, therefore, underlined the need to put main emphasis on promoting the application of the theme of scientific development and making a switchover in the mode of economic development and combine them with reality to create new things.

He called upon senior cadres at all levels to work hard to implement the scientific outlook on development in various fields of economic and social development and achieve remarkable and rapid development of economy and society and thus contribute to building a comprehensively well-off society and pushing ahead with the socialist modernization drive.
