Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir in an interview with a TV on Tuesday clarified the stand to work hard to settle the clashes.

The government recently declared a unilateral cease-fire in South Kordofan State which has been witnessing the clashes with Southern Sudan, he said. It was part of the government's endeavors to resolve the crisis.

He reiterated the importance of preventing foreign organizations from entering the clashes-hit area.
