Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The United States and the south Korean authorities claimed that UFG was to "make preparations to counter the provocations of the north" and "alliance was tightened" in this course but it was, in fact, dangerous war maneuvers staged under the simulated conditions of a war of aggression against the north.

UFG clearly showed who on the Korean Peninsula is perpetrating military provocations.

What should not be overlooked is that the chiefs of staff of the puppet ground force and navy exercised the right to command the operations in the recent saber-rattling.

The U.S. is contemplating leaving land and marine operations in the war of aggression against the north to the south Korean puppet army for fear of the retaliatory strikes of the Korean People's Army.

In the final analysis, UFG proved once again that the south Korean puppet army is no more than cannon fodder of the U.S. forces.

It indicated the U.S. and south Korean authorities do not want peace on the peninsula.

The U.S. and the south Korean trigger-happy forces dared not unleash a war of aggression against the north mainly because the DPRK built up its strong war deterrent for self-defense under the banner of Songun.

They will never be able to realize their wild ambition for invading the north.
