Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The swimming games of the 37th national sports contest among school youth and children for Jongilbong Prize took place at the swimming pool of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace from August 23 to 27.

The contest brought together at least 400 boys and girls from across country. It was divided into groups of primary and secondary schools.

Boys of Mangum Secondary School in Sariwon City and girls of Pyongyang Tonghung Secondary School came first in team standings in the group of secondary schools while boys of Pyongyang Janggyong Primary School and girls of Pyongyang Primary School No. 4 in the group of primary schools.
