Beijing, August 26 (KCNA) -- Liang Guanglie, Chinese state councilor and minister of National Defense, called for promoting a scientific development of national defense mobilization, true to a new intention of the Communist Party and government.

Addressing the 6th Plenary Session of the Beijing Military District Committee of National Defense Mobilization held in Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region on Tuesday, Liang said organizations at all levels should have a correct understanding of the development direction, main principles and major tasks of national defense mobilization and make efforts to open a new phase in this work.
