Moscow, August 27 (KCNA) -- Russia is planning to build more than 10 "Yasen"-class multi-purpose nuclear submarines till 2020 according to the state plan for arms and equipment.

The submarines to be equipped not only with nuclear weapons but with conventional weapons will have the mission to strike aircraft carriers and warship groups, naval base, ports and other coastal targets, a press report said.
