Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Sunday in an editorial dedicated to Youth Day calls on the Korean youths to fully demonstrate the honor of being Songun youth vanguard in the efforts to accomplish the revolutionary cause of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Youth Day is the militant holiday demonstrating the firm faith and will to glorify President Kim Il Sung’s original idea of on the youth movement and feats performed in it and build a thriving nation on this land under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

President Kim Il Sung organized the Young Communist League of Korea on August 28, 1927, bringing about a radical change in the development of the Korean youth movement and always led it to victory.
