Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- The porcelain creative group of the Mansudae Art Studio in the DPRK is well known to the world for creating famous porcelains including Koryo celadon.

"Celadon vase inlaid with a blue dragon pattern" made by People's Artist Han Kyong Su and "Celadon vase patterned with cloud and crane" by Merited Artist U Chol Ryong won the gold prize and first prize respectively at an international porcelain fair held a few years ago. The fair was attended by more than 700 organs from some 30 countries and regions.

Another People's Artist Sin Hyon Su won the top prize at an international porcelain fair drawing over 500 000 pieces.

The three porcelains attracted admiration from visitors.

Some of the members of the porcelain creative group are People's Artists and Merited Artists.
