Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- On display at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK is a silver craftwork "Torch".

It is a gift presented to leader Kim Jong Il by the Juche Idea Study Society of Indian Delhi.

The organization was formed in Sept. Juche 70 (1981), involving people of various social strata.

Society members have studied works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the Juche idea founded by the President. They have also held seminars, lectures and reading sessions on them.

Through the activities for the study of Juche idea, they learned the truth that the popular masses' cause of independence is sure to win under the banner of the Juche idea, and cherished deep reverence for Kim Jong Il, who clearly indicated the way ahead of humankind.

A delegation of the society visited Pyongyang in 1998 to take part in celebrations of the DPRK's golden anniversary, with a gift prepared with its utmost sincerity.

The silver craftwork represents the Korean people's spirit of glorifying socialist society centered on the popular masses under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, holding fast to the banner of Juche idea.
