Kim Jong Il's Songun Politics Praised by Foreign Countries

Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries from August 23 to 25 on the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership. Seminars, meetings, film shows and photo exhibitions were held in Guinea, Cambodia, Poland, Pakistan, Ethiopia and India. Displayed at the venues were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, photos on their undying Songun revolutionary feats and books and photos of the vitality of the Songun politics. Films shown included "The Country Shining with Arms of Mt. Paektu" and "The Tower of the Juche Idea". Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, said the full-fledged look of the DPRK reacting to the U.S. hard line with the toughest stand under the uplifted banner of Songun helped the world progressives keenly realize the invincible might of the Songun idea. The human cause of independence will win a brilliant victory under the banner of the Songun idea, he added. The chairman of the Poland-DPRK Association noted the national defence capability of the DPRK will grow stronger and socialist construction has a bright prospect as long as there are the army and people who regard the great Juche idea and the Songun idea as the guidelines of their activities. For its original Songun politics the DPRK has been known to the world as a powerful socialist state the imperialists dare not provoke and is praised by the world people, said the secretary general of the Society for the Study of Self-Reliance of Pakistan. The chairperson of the Indian Working Women Society for Study of the Juche Philosophy stressed that the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il has put the political and ideological might of the Korean People's Army on a high level matchless with any other army of the world. Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted in the event in Poland and the seminar in India. |
