Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, today sent a congratulatory message to Tony Tan Keng Yam upon his election as president of Singapore.

The message sincerely wished the Singaporean president success in his work, expressing belief that the good friendly and cooperative relations existing between the DPRK and Singapore would grow stronger in various fields in the future.
