Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Cuautemoc Amezcua Dromundo, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico, on August 23 issued a statement on the 63rd anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

September 9 marks the 63rd anniversary of the DPRK, he said, stressing that the DPRK has become a beacon of hope and a banner of victory for the world people desirous of independence as it is emerging victorious and demonstrating its might thanks to the Songun politics,.

The DPRK has developed to be a socialist state of Juche with invincible might and achieved great victories and brought about world-startling changes under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, he noted.

All the members of the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico are convinced that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people would surely win victory in the general offensive to commemorate the centenary of birth of the President as a great jubilee in human history under the experienced and tested leadership of Kim Jong Il, he said.
