Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Vietnamese Ambassador to the DPRK Le Quang Ba gave a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Corps Club Thursday on the 66th anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Present there on invitation were Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Pak Kun Gwang, vice department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Kil Yon, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Association, officials concerned, diplomatic envoys of different countries and representatives of international organizations here.

Staff members of the embassy were present there.

Speeches were made at the reception.
