Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Rason-Mt. Kumgang tourism by sea is now going on in the DPRK.

Mt. Kumgang is known as one of the world's famous mountains.

Skyscraping peaks, rocks of myriad shapes, fantastic cliffs, deep valleys, many pools and ponds, crystal-like water, many waterfalls, various species of animals and plants and thick foliage -- these are the main features of the mountain.

From ancient times, the mountain has had different names like Mt. Pongrae, Mt. Phungak and Mt. Kaegol.

Kumgang means the mountain's scenery in spring, Pongrae in summer, Phungak in autumn and Kaegol in winter.
