Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted on its internet homepage an article titled "Go and see DPRK" on Aug. 25 on the occasion of the 63rd birth anniversary of the DPRK. The article referred to the fact that in last October CNN of the U.S. broadcast live the beautiful night scenery of the Kaeson Youth Park in Pyongyang, noting that Pyongyangites were full of joy, using brightly lit ultra-modern funfair facilities making breath-taking turns and their appearance completely refuted the false propaganda of the West. As a matter of fact, Pyongyang is called a city among parks as it has a lot of parks and recreation grounds always crowded with people, the article noted, and went on: Even at night Pyongyang seethes with joy and happiness. There is the May Day Stadium of peculiar architectural style on picturesque Rungra Islet which looks like an unfolded giant parachute. The grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang" being staged there with big success leads the spectators to a mysterious world along with gorgeous lighting decorations. Whenever fireworks galas take place on holidays or on meaningful days the nocturnal sky above Pyongyang reaches the height of fantastic scenery. Laughter and songs full of happiness are heard from the brightly lit modern apartment houses including those new ones in Mansudae Street. Splendid art performances are being staged at the Mansudae Art Theatre, the Pyongyang Grand Theatre, the State Theatrical Theatre, etc. The Tower of Juche Idea, the Arch of Triumph and other monumental edifices and the Grand People's Study House, the People's Palace of Culture and other magnificent and beautiful edifices of Korean-style are evoking admiration of visitors. As the Korean proverb says "Seeing is believing", you are requested not to listen to the false propaganda of the West which mislead you but go and see the DPRK for yourself. |
