Tehran, September 1 (KCNA) -- The deputy chief of Staff of the General Command of Armed Forces of Iran denounced the double-dealing attitude of the West towards the issue of terror on Aug. 30.

The West uses the issue of terror as means for pressurizing independent countries and, therefore, it continues aiding terrorist organizations in the world, he said.

The West supports terrorism favorable for it but brands the resistance movement against occupation and aggression as terrorism, he noted, and went on:

Iran is the biggest victim of terrorism. The U.S. assertion that Iran supports terrorist groups is groundless. It aims at launching psychological warfare against Iran.
