Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan called upon the people of Nigeria to make efforts for the development of the country in a recent letter.

He said with the new national economic management team in place, Nigerians should look forward to the fulfillment of the promise of socioeconomic revitalization, job creation and the renewal of national infrastructure in the coming months. The president also stressed the need for all Nigerians to have a role to play in the urgent task of the nation-building. He urged Nigerians to rededicate themselves to supporting the government in every possible way to ensure that the country continues to make steady progress.
