Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- The Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea in Vienna issued a bulletin titled "Songun politics provides guarantee for peace and sovereignty" on August 25, the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

The bulletin carried an article with his portrait.

The article said: Kim Jong Il started the Songun revolutionary leadership through his field guidance to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, 1960.

He has developed in depth the theory of the Songun revolution while ceaselessly inspecting KPA units since then.

The KPA has been firmly prepared to beat back any formidable enemy, rallied close around him and is playing a leading role in defending the country and building socialism.

The Songun politics pursued by him is providing a guarantee for the sovereignty of the DPRK.

It is thanks to the Songun politics that the DPRK has turned into an impregnable fortress and become a dignified state that shattered all the moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers and launched satellites twice by its own efforts and technology.
