Havana, September 2 (KCNA) -- Cuba is pushing forward the preparations for the new school year starting on September 5.

According to the government's step, officials in the field of education are going to at least 10 000 schools across the country to acquaint themselves with educational conditions and preparations for opening schools.

Cuba is also pushing ahead with the work to improve educational methods and qualification of teachers.
