Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in a message on Wednesday called upon all the people to unite in order to achieve prosperity.

All people should get firmly united as one in order to eradicate the consequences of the civil war and achieve the development of the state, he noted.

He said the Sri Lankan Muslims have been living in harmony with other ethnic and religious communities in Sri Lanka and are contributing to the country's development as well as to the protection of its sovereignty.
