Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue on the Volunteers Corps in south Korea Wednesday held a news conference before the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. It called for measures to ensure the reinstatement of honor and human rights of the victims of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

The constitutional court ruled that it is the abuse of the right of the victims that the ministry has not exerted efforts for the solution of the issue, the organization said.

It urged the ministry to accept the rule in a serious manner and take all diplomatic measures possible for the reinstatement of the honor of the victims.

The ministry should urge the Japanese government to come out for the solution of the issue, the organization said, warning it will not be able to evade impeachment if it fails to do so.

The organization thrust a letter of protest to the ministry after the news conference.
