Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Vol. 96 of "Among the People", a collection of reminiscences, was brought out by the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House.

The book contains 21 reminiscences dealing with outstanding leadership art and noble traits of President Kim Il Sung who devoted his all to the prosperity of the country, the happiness of its people and the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

There are in the book reminiscences "Providing gifts in praise of great man" which impressively tell story that the President made sure that gifts were prepared for leader Kim Jong Il who performed distinguished feats on behalf of the party and the revolution, on his birthday in 1987.

The book also contains reminiscences "Always putting the issue of people's life in the center of thinking and practice" and "Visiting a shop in a remote village" telling stories that the President made the officials cherish the spirit of true service for the people, paying deep attention even to one kind of consumer goods to be used by the people.

Reminiscences contained in the book tell about how a decision of the Cabinet was adopted for a bereaved family of a soldier who fell in action during the Fatherland Liberation War thanks to the President's noble viewpoint on the younger generation and comradeship and the loving care shown by him for the bereaved children so that they could steadfastly succeed to the revolution.

There are in the book reminiscences recounting stories about how deeply the President loved the soldiers and what profound care showed for them and how he put forward the young people as vanguard for the socialist construction.
