Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- The Puebla Branch of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism was inaugurated with due ceremony on August 30.

On display in the venue of the inaugural ceremony were famous works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and other Korean books.

The ceremony was attended by personages of the Puebla Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Mexico, the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, Puebla Autonomous University and adherents to the Juche idea.

At the ceremony Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism who is the secretary general of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, referred to the significance of the branch inauguration.

Cruz Gil Herrera was elected chief of the branch.

He said he grasped the greatness of the Juche idea, the Songun idea and their justice and vitality while studying them. He affirmed his will to contribute to giving momentum to an international atmosphere of commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung as a great auspicious event in the history of humankind, deeply aware of his mission.
