Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Salvadoran President, Mauricio Funes, has presented on Thursday an economic development project to tackle the poverty affecting the rural areas of the country.

The plan seeks to generate development initiatives in the regions that have a higher poverty rate.

The president presented the project at Puerto El Triunfo, Usulutan, where the fishing industry will be stimulated.
