Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- A deputy spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea issued a commentary on Sept. 2 denouncing the dictatorial authorities' suppression of media.

The commentary said that the Supreme Court declared not guilty the production team of "PD pocketbook" of south Korean MBC which disclosed the danger of import of American beef infected with mad cow disease. This has brought to light the injustice of the suppression of media by the present "government", it said.

It demanded the "government" and Prosecution take the responsibility for the incident, stop the suppression of media and give up the dictatorial policy for controlling media.

It also urged MBC side to drop its attitude kowtowing to power and reinstate all the dismissed producers of "PD pocketbook".
