Beijing, September 5 (KCNA) -- A state councilor of China, at a video conference held recently, underscored the need to improve scientific qualification of all people.

Liu Yandong said it is important to carry out the action program for improving all-people scientific qualification and encourage people of various social strata to attach importance to science so that their scientific qualification can be put on a higher level.

All regions and all sectors should intensify guidance and closely cooperate with each other to this end, Liu added.
