Foreign Diplomats Tour Wonsan Youth Power Station and Kosan Fruit Farm

Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Diplomatic envoys of various countries and representatives of international organizations here toured the Wonsan Youth Power Station on Tuesday on the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the DPRK. They looked round different parts of the power station, being briefed on the fact that people in Kangwon Province successfully built a monumental structure in the era of Songun. The Cambodian Ambassador Chhorn Hay said he was deeply impressed to see the power station, expressing belief that the people of the DPRK would surely build a thriving nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il. Then they toured the Kosan Fruit Farm, the nation's modern fruit producer. At the end of the tour, Guan Huabing, Chinese charge d'affaires ad interim, hoped the Korean people would register greater successes in their efforts to improve the standard of people's living and develop economy. |
