Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Lectures were given in Mexico on August 30 and 31 to congratulate leader Kim Jong Il on his successful visit to Russia.

Present there were personages of the National Coordinating Committee, the National Executive Committee and the Puebla State Committee of the Workers' Party of Mexico and the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, lawmakers from the Workers' Party of Mexico and masses.

They were informed of detailed report on Kim Jong Il's visit to the Siberian and Far East regions of the Russian Federation. Then followed lectures.

Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, coordinator (leader) of the National Coordinating Committee of the Workers' Party of Mexico, said that Kim Jong Il's visit to Russia had a great impact on the political and public circles of the world and was a great event which greatly contributed to the Korean people's efforts to build a thriving nation and to the development of the DPRK-Russia relations.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, noted that Kim Jong Il's visit to Russia was a historic great deed which opened a bright prospect for establishing the sound international relations and global independence.

Invincible is the cause of the Korean people who are advancing under the banner of Songun, holding Kim Jong Il, the elder statesman of the world, in high esteem at the head of the party, the state and the army, he noted.
