Tehran, September 6 (KCNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that no one should allow the sworn enemies to find the opportunity to control the regional countries.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a joint press conference with Tajik President Emomali Rahman in Dushanbe on Sunday.

"We are friends with everyone, but we should defend our independence and interests," the president added.

President Ahmadinejad in a telephone conversation on September 3 strongly denounced all the crimes committed by Israel against Palestinians, reiterating the Iranian people's will to stand by them at all times and firmly support them till they win their fight.
