Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The Israeli media on Sunday highlighted the impact for the political future of that State of the mass protests last night against the high cost of living, a revival of the popular movement started six weeks ago.

According to organizers of the protests, which had their epicenter in Tel Aviv but also extended to Jerusalen, Haifa, Afula, Karmiel, and Eilat, more than 450,000 people of different political trends protested the price hikes.

The unprecedented social protest in Israel corroborates that Israelis have grown tired of the increasing prices of food and housing, and that they seem strong enough to continue demanding economic reforms, the media added.
