Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The Samdung Revolutionary Site has been visited by more than 300 000 people in the new century. It is associated with the revolutionary history of President Kim Il Sung.

The President visited Samdung-myon (at that time), Kangdong County, on October 16, 1946 and on other several occasions, encouraging the Korean people to set up a people's power by their own efforts and consolidate it and actively turn out in building an independent sovereign state.

The site is visited by an endless stream of servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, people from all walks of life and youth and students on the birthday of the DPRK.

The visitors posed before a mosaic depicting the President acknowledging the enthusiastic cheers of the crowd and paid tribute to him in humble reverence.

Looking round the historic site, they deeply grasped the great feats the President performed by setting up the best people's power and projecting the working people as the true master of the state and the society.
