Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, met and had a friendly conservation with a delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor headed by its President Dang Ngoc Tung at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Wednesday.

The head of the delegation said the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and the DPRK provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung have grown stronger.

He was deeply impressed to see the Korean people striving to build a thriving nation in order to significantly commemorate the centenary of birth of the President, he stressed.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would achieve greater success by dint of their single-minded unity under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
