Tehran, September 7 (KCNA) -- Large-scale aerial war exercises started in Northwestern Iran on September 6.

The exercises will last for ten days, divided into four phases. Various type planes and arms and equipment will be tested during the period.

They are aimed at bolstering deterrent force, a high-ranking officer of the Air Force of Iran said.
