Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Genaro Ledesma Izquieta, chairman of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru, issued a statement on September 2 on the 63rd anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Congratulating the Korean people on the 63rd anniversary of the DPRK, the statement said:

The DPRK is not big in its territory but is throwing its bright rays all over the world thanks to the Juche idea and the Songun idea which made the Korean people strong.

The DPRK is standing firm against the U.S. imperialists.

They are staging joint military exercises with south Korea in succession but they are little short of more burlesques as they can neither provoke nor frighten the Korean people.

The Korean people, who are armed with the Juche idea of President Kim Il Sung and have the socialist system and invincible army, enjoy a happy and stable life.

The world people are very pleased that the brave Korean people are building many structures while resolutely shattering the provocation moves of the U.S. imperialists and the DPRK is daily prospering.

The progress and prosperity of the DPRK are giving conviction and encouragement to progressive mankind and exerting a strong influence on the world.
